"Alison is making her professional debut. She performed in a New York production of Menotti’s opera 'Help, Help, the Globolinks' and has always enjoyed being in stage works at P.S. 183 in Manhattan, where she’s a sixth grader. Alison, 11, studies piano with Andre Kimbrell and plays touch football, writes poetry and collects stickers."

A FEW PERTINENT NOTES ABOUT MY PLAYBILL BIO

****

* To this day I have no idea what a Globolink is

* Not to brag, but I played King Pappy

in the P.S. 183 original production of "Happy Land."

Rumor has it that Sir Laurence Olivier was vying for the role, but guess who won?

* by "studies' piano my mother meant

'pretends to study'

*I never made it to the NFL

* My ode never won the Pulitzer due to one minor typo

 "Roses are red,

Violits are blue..."

(Whatever)

* My 1981 sticker collection totally rocked.

*Yes, I got braces after this gig.

Featured Author, 2008

Some commercials that, like Big Foot, only a handful of people ever saw, leaving most folks skeptical that such entities even ever existed. But one of these unicorn commercials was the lead in a PSA directed by Academy Award-winning director John Schlesinger. Maybe he saw it?

A bunch of radio interviews on Sirius and the like with cool hosts who were kindly helping me promote my work.

Got to be an Extra in a few skits on "Saturday Night Live" back in the early '90s. Most of the time the screen only caught like, one of my eyeballs - or half of my ear - but on occasion my whole face made the cut!
